Deleting your account and data.

This is the fastest route and it works whether you signed up with email, Google, Apple or Facebook:

• —Open Bettrn and sign in.
• —Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
• —Confirm the request.

Your request is recorded immediately and processed by our team. Your account keeps working until it is processed, so nothing you are part-way through is lost without warning.

Email support@bettrn.com from the address on the account, or tell us the username, and ask us to delete it. We will confirm the account is yours before we act on the request. If you signed up with Facebook or Apple and no longer have access to that login, say so and we will verify another way.

Money has to be settled before an account can be removed, otherwise a deletion would strand funds that belong to you or to other players. You cannot delete while any of these is true:

• —You hold a balance in your wallet — withdraw it first.
• —You have a withdrawal in progress — wait for it to clear.
• —You are in a challenge that has not finished settling.

Once those clear, the request goes through. Removing your account does not forfeit a stake that is still in a running game — settle or finish it first and the normal rules apply.

We delete your profile and the personal information attached to it — your name, email address, username, profile photo, cover image, bio and interests — along with the link between your account and any social login you used to sign in.

A small amount of information outlives the account, because deleting it would break other people’s records or our legal obligations:

• —Proof videos may be retained for a limited period after a challenge settles, to allow dispute and anti-fraud review, and are then deleted.
• —Transaction and settlement records are kept as long as financial and tax rules require, since they are part of other players’ challenge history too.
• —Content you posted in a group chat may remain, detached from your profile.

None of what we keep identifies you publicly once the profile is gone.

If you only want to disconnect a social login rather than delete your account, you can revoke Bettrn from that provider directly — in Facebook under Settings → Apps and Websites, and on Apple under Settings → your name → Sign in with Apple. Revoking access stops that sign-in method working; it does not delete your Bettrn account, so use the steps above if that is what you want.
