Put money on
yourself.
Then show up.
Stake real money on a daily goal. Film the proof. Finish and you get your stake back plus a cut of everyone who didn’t.
Your stake is held, not spent. Finish and it comes straight back.
Knowing what to do was
never the hard part.
Day one is easy. Day nine, in the rain, with nobody watching, is where it ends — because nothing happens if you skip. Bettrn makes something happen.
Thirty days, run twice.
Same person, same goal, one difference. On motivation alone the run frays in the second week and then stops. With a stake on it, a missed day stops being free — it becomes something you spend, and you notice yourself spending it.
Illustrative, not a study. The mechanism is old: people keep promises they have something riding on.
Seven steps. Nothing to cancel.
No subscription, no monthly fee, nothing renewing in the background. You put money on one daily goal, and it is over the day the run ends. Here is the whole thing, start to payout.
Pick something you can film
Daily and specific — 50 push-ups, 10,000 steps, no sugar. Start a run yourself or join one that is already forming; either way the target is a number you have to hit every day, not a vibe you have to feel.
A run can open with a warm-up week that does not count against you.
The money quitters leave behind is the prize.
Everyone stakes the same amount. Finish, and you get your stake back plus an equal share of what the others forfeited. Nobody can lose more than they staked, and there is no house taking the other side.
Ten people. Twenty dollars each.
Everyone in a run stakes the same amount, and it is held rather than spent — it leaves your spendable balance and stays locked for the length of the run. 6 finish here and 4 don’t, so the 4 stakes left behind are divided equally between the 6 who did.
Completion-based, never ranked. The person who scraped through on the last day takes exactly what the strongest performer takes.

You can’t just say you did it.
Every day we generate a short code and show it to you. Your clip has to carry that code, in one unbroken take. A checker scores the video in seconds — and anything it isn’t certain about goes to real people from other challenges who have no stake in yours.
That’s the part that makes the money mean anything. A pot only works if nobody can fake their way into it.
A fresh code, every day.
Before you film, we generate a short code for that day and show it to you — something like amber-otter-42. It has to appear in the clip: hold it up, write it on your hand, stick it on the wall behind you. Tomorrow it’s a different code, which is what makes yesterday’s footage worthless today.
The opening seconds are read hardest — that’s where most people show it — then the rest of the clip is swept about once a second, so a code held up at the end still counts.
You’re put in a pod of 4–10.
Not a leaderboard of strangers — a small group whose proof videos land in one private chat with yours. Every week the pods re-form around whoever is still standing, so it stays full and it stays live.
A pod of four to ten.
Join a run and you’re placed in a small group — not the whole field. Small enough that everyone’s proof is seen by everyone, and small enough that the day you don’t post is a gap with your name on it.
Four to ten is the range a run is set up with, and ten is the ceiling for any one pod. Keeping it there as people drop out is what 06 is for.
Eight in, two seats spare — and one person who hasn’t filmed today.
Where the money actually goes.
What it costs to play
Nothing. You stake your own money and it comes back if you finish.
What the platform takes
6% of the forfeited pot. 0% on members-only games. Never a cut of a returned stake.
If nobody finishes
Everyone is refunded in full. There is no scenario where the house keeps the pot.
If you miss a day
Runs can allow a set number of misses, and can start with a warm-up week that doesn’t count.
Getting your money out
Withdraw your balance whenever it isn’t locked in a running challenge.
